Big News from Emma-Louise!

Hello Fierce Kindness! with owl, stars, sea urchin and butterfly against night sky

So, this week is short and sweet, with an exciting announcement from me!

My big news has been a long time coming. It’s:

  • 14 years since I began playing with the idea of Fierce Kindness
  • 12 years since I first wrote publicly about Fierce Kindness
  • 9 years since I purchased the Fierce Kindness URL
  • and almost 5 years since I launched the Fierce Kindness website

And here is my big news:

I am devoting myself full-time to Fierce Kindness!

—and I could not be more excited!

Many of you reading will know me as the founder of The Coaching Tools Company. And after a 15 year journey, The Coaching Tools Company has a new owner! It has been acquired by The Guiding Matrix—and they will give The Coaching Tools Company the full attention that it deserves and needs!

The last 5 years I have been trying to build Fierce Kindness while also running The Coaching Tools Company: an existing full-time business. The Coaching Tools Company was also my main source of income—and I was burning out running both businesses.

I love The Coaching Tools Company, but Fierce Kindness is my passion. And for the longest time I wasn’t willing to give up either of them.

Yes, I’m a stubborn dreamer (like many of you out there I’m sure!).

So, I’m incredibly grateful to have finally found the right buyer who shares our mission and will nurture and grow The Coaching Tools Company. You can read more here >>

And all this, of course, means:

Hello Fierce Kindness! with owl, stars, sea urchin and butterfly against night sky

No more squeezing in the Fierce Kindness newsletter, and no more feeling sad because I don’t have the time or energy to develop the big offerings I want to share and contribute to the world.

Of course I’m going to need to be patient. It will take time to get myself sorted out—to get into a rhythm with Fierce Kindness. And to build out all the big ideas I have.

Importantly, I want to hear from you!

  • So that when I revisit and review the newsletter, I’m being of the best service I can be—delivering helpful emails and resources.
    • For example, I have a tendency to write longer, deeper articles and would like to balance that with some shorter, fun newsletters which are valuable and quick to read—but I’m not sure what would be most helpful!
  • So that I develop the training you want, whether it’s how to be kind to yourself, help with your Inner Critic—or something else.

I have a couple of weeks of busyness, and then… I’m going to be reaching out to YOU to hear what you have to say!

I have huge plans for Fierce Kindness!

Lots of free resources (there are quite a few already), online courses and much, much more. I want Fierce Kindness to be a movement, a practice, a tool. A sacred space to return to. A community. Training. And I just keep dreaming—and working. Slow and steady. I know I’ll get there. After all, if this is my legacy (and I think it might be), then there’s no rush.

Plus, ironically, I learned something else important: I need to be Fiercely Kind with myself while I develop Fierce Kindness 😉

So, it’s exciting times here at Fierce Kindness!

And, finally, here are 3 questions for you to ponder:

Emma-Louise holding mug looking up and thinking about the future
  1. Where do you need to be kinder to yourself?
  2. Where could you be more courageous in your life?
  3. Where do you need to connect with your inner determination and keep going? Where is perseverance the answer to what you seek?
  4. And lastly, where if you “upped” your self-kindness, courage and determination could you make a HUGE difference in your life?

Love, Emma-Louise xxx
